How To Put Amp In Ve Commodore
Hey been googling forever and havnt found anything on anyone being able to put a custom stereo into a VE commodore. The airconditioning controls are like integrated into the stereo so I have no idea how it can be changed. Basically im looking for more oomph out of the speakers. If I couldn't replace the main unit, and i bought new speakers for the car, would the current stereo output enough wattage?
The stock stereo is not bad I must admit, but to have it at a nice volume it has to be FULL blast! Any input appreciated, thanks Pineocleen. I don't know! The guys showed me, but I forgot the name of it, you'd run the output from the stereo to this square thin thing that sits under each seat, then would connect to the appropriate speakers to boost the power. I believe you would be talking about amplifiers.
The VE however seems to go flat within a few hours of even just running an amp (the same. What I might do to start with is put a power source switch on the amp. If you want a power souce to turn the amplifier on / off with the ignition you'll need to remove the drivers side of the centre console to access an unused handsfree kit plug, this has accessories power in it so just attach a wire to that and run it to the amp. The wire is in a white plug, its brown / yellow.
WebLogic and Maven in 5 minutes To set up a Java EE 5 Maven project that works in WebLogic using split-deployment we just need few easy steps. We start by creating the actual project with a very simple JEE archetype that encloses the minimum necessary to start (from the project open-archetypes). I want to use Java with JMX to monitor WebLogic. I need to use wlclient.jar which is provided into WebLogic lib directory. Is there any maven repository which I can use to download the wlclient.ja. Weblogic client jar.
It depends how serious this guy is going to get, he may find it better off speaking to a few actual audio shops first. A few of my mates have gone through JB Hifi to get thier cars done and whilst the job is OK, it doesn't compare in the slightest to someone who actually owns a shop dedicated to car audio.
(its a shame adelaide pro sound has closed.) Somewhere else to consider as well would be Tonkins Car Audio Australia. They're in the city and have done some really NEAT CLEAN installs. I'll see if I can find you a picture. Give me a few minutes. Will edit this post here when I find it. EDIT: Found them.;) I should mention, that cost the guy $1500 to install back in 2006.
Was also fitted to a Mitsubishi Magna TH Altera LS. Never the less How serious do you want it Pineocleen? Well I probably want to spend around $500 bucks. And I need to make sure that this is easily reversible because my dad sells cars very often. Would $500 get me an amp and speakers you reckon?
If I was just to get an amp, would the stock speakers benefit at all, or are they already running at their full output? EDIT: Don't really want a sub in the boot or amp either because my dad needs to put ladders etc. EDIT 2 (lol): Also my godfather knows someone who works or owns or i dunno someone high up in Tonkins who can probably get me discount:). And I need to make sure that this is easily reversible because my dad sells cars very often. It's your dads car? And will probably be sold within the next year or so? How old are you out of curiosity?
I only ask because I think you would be better of saving your money then spending it on a car that isn't even yours and probably won't be hanging around long enough to be worthwhile. I haven't heard a VE stereo, but if it's anything like the VZ setup it's more than enough for a vehicle that's used for A-B and/or work duties. Put the money away towards your own car, then eventually it won't matter if the stereo in your Dad's cars play nothing but 2CH radio! (A Sydney based AM station). Just my advise and opinion from someone who's been there before, what you take from it is up to you!:).
