But all I need is to use the leaves and to scatter around the tree's branches. I've tried to use a sphere or few planes for the shape of tree leaves by using the SCATTER modifier, but problem, is that, the leaves follow regular shapes.

Now, the other option was Object Paint, but my 3ds max always crash and when it worked, the result wasn't what I expected. So all I want is, to use the leaves that I created, to be like a Spline or any shape that makes the surrounding of top tree leaves, and to scatter my leaves either inside the tree or all around the tree, like within an OFFSET of 10cms Any ideas?
