Cara Mengetahui Jumper CMOS Compaq Nx7010

Reset Password BIOS Laptop bukan pekerjaan mudah seperti halnya reset password PC. Mengapa demikian? Selain karena bentuk fisik yang beda, nampaknya para produsen laptop tidak selalu mengisinkan cara-cara reset password bios seperti pada PC.

Does anybody happen to know if the ' Compaq Presario S5000NX' Motherboard have a bios resetting jumper that will cause the bios settings to reset if power is unplugged from it, had same problem with a HP, was luck that I found the jumper was cause of the problem with no help? I have tried multi batteries but I am having this same problem as I had with the HP where someone removed a jumper causing the bios to reset every time the computer was unplugged, once jumper was put back the settings stayed without battery changing or anything, wondering if this may be the same problem as I have tried 4 different batteries and put the in both ways.

I just do not wanna start playing with the jumpers on the motherboard in this Compaq Presario S5000NX because it actually has a lot of jumpers on it that can be taken out moved and the like, and I have no clue what any of them do as I don't have the manual. OK so in this case if there is no jumper and I have tried several batteries and none of them will work that would mean there is something stopping the battery energy from getting to the bios, where would be the best 2 places to use a multi-meter to test and see if there is any power coming from the battery plug in on this motherboard? Goong s sub indonesia. Have any ideas, would it be on the back of the board where the battery hookup is connected to the motherboard if there are 2 solder points behind it? Or does anyone happen to know what part of the battery should be on top the large part that says +3V or the smaller part, the battery holder is not flat on the motherboard like a lot of motherboards it actually sticks out in a T like shape if _ is the mother board then the battery holder comes out wards the motherboard like a T perpendicular line instead of a the battery holder being parallel to the motherboard.?

Hope you can kinda make since of that lol. Hello, I actually got down on the floor with a flashlight to take a good look at the motherboard this time. Sorry I went to that link before but didn't click the pictures, no that is not the motherboard in mine, the battery on min is at the very bottom under the 3rd PCI slot about 3/4th to the end of the white pci slot. Lots of other things are different but that's just one example. This motherboard actually has a set of 6 jumpers at the bottom right but on the motherboard only tells what jumper 1 through 4 does, one is clear cmos but it seems to be in the correct place, all the jumpers 1-5 are in spots 1-2 but jumper 6 is in spot 2-3 but I have no clue what that jumper actual does. The board in mine does not have a lot of info on it actually barley any, all i could find was S/N 4004 and over in middle of the motherboard 'Rev.G' Just found this info: This actually looks more like the motherboard I have looks like it is it. My motherboard I think I cant tell difference looking at it.

'I guess there are 2 different motherboards for this computer.
